Summary

On October 29, 1954 at 1900 hours in the Philippine Islands, a military source reported a UFO sighting. One bright blue object, long and narrow, was observed for 2 to 3 seconds during air visual observation. One observer saw a trail of deep orange sparks coming from the rear end of the object. Sparks were also observed from the front end. The object traveled faster than a meteor. The Air Force concluded the sighting was an astronomical meteor.
