MKUltra Subproject 76 was a fellowship grant program that ran from July 1, 1957 through December 30, 1959. The surviving paperwork shows a total budget of $10,000.00 distributed to support research and living expenses for a grantee whose name is redacted. The file includes a final expenditure report dated February 3, 1960, a memorandum from January 25, 1960 referencing MKUltra Audit Exceptions, payment letters and receipts from 1957 and 1959, and administrative correspondence. The grant supported completion of a dissertation, with specific conditions requiring terminal reports on research completion and accounting of fund use.
