Summary

On July 14, 1958, a civilian in Xenia-Bellbrook, Ohio reported observing an object between 4:30 and 5:30 a.m. The object appeared as a bright star and often looked like three lights. It remained stationary and was believed to be in the east-northeast direction. An astro-check indicated the object was likely Venus. Clouds in the area caused the light to fade when they moved in front of it. No other unusual reports were made by local radar, flights, or other persons. The Air Force evaluation was listed as unknown.
