Summary

On July 21, 1955, in Seattle, Washington, a civilian reported one round, black object. The witness's neighbor saw it first. The Air Force recorded the report under Project 10073, its official record for unidentified flying object reports.

The object looked about the size of a quarter held at arm's length. It was seen overhead and appeared to go straight up and disappear. The sighting lasted about two minutes. The report was made just after 9:18 p.m. local time. Weather was clear.

The Air Force concluded there was not enough data to evaluate the sighting.
