On September 21, 1961, a 26-year-old student in Madison, Wisconsin reported seeing a small, round object with yellow and gold coloring. The object was observed during daylight hours at 2140 hours (9:40 p.m.). The witness reported sunlight reflecting off the object at an azimuth of 200 degrees and 40 degrees elevation. The sighting lasted 6 to 10 seconds. The object showed no maneuverability. [illegible] 2 dot at [illegible] [illegible] in vicinity as [illegible] point [illegible] of sight. [illegible] manifestation of a reflection of sun [illegible]. It is quite possible that witness saw sun radiating off [illegible] and it flew over, and when it went [illegible] switch it no longer reflected sun rays to witness.
