Summary

On October 1, 1954, a civilian in Long Beach, California reported observing one round and oblong bright white object with no sound. The object was heading northeast at 15,000 to 20,000 feet altitude. It made a 270 degree right turn and rolled out heading north before fading from view. The observation lasted one second.
