Summary

On June 24, 1958, near Dallas, Texas, a civilian witness reported seeing two pinkish-red objects about the size of a pea through binoculars. The objects were observed for 40 minutes and moved from northeast to southwest. The witness watched them while stargazing. An astro chart and clock check showed that the moon was in the given location and the sky was hazy. The Air Force noted that these viewing conditions through binoculars could produce strange visual effects and made the witness unreliable.
