Summary

On November 27, 1953, at 2:30 p.m. in Houston, Texas, a civilian witness reported seeing five metallic objects that formed the letter C in the sky. The objects appeared to move straight upward before vanishing. The observation lasted five to eight minutes and was made from ground level. The witness reported that the objects moved with alternating patterns and eventually went straight up and gradually disappeared. The Air Force concluded the sighting was a balloon or possible cluster balloon.
