Summary

On July 12, 1955, near a station at Greenville, Maine, a civilian reported one object for about twenty minutes. The sighting was seen from the ground. The object was described as circling.

The object was round and flat with a light blinking on top. It looked about the size of a four-engine aircraft but had no tail or wings. It appeared silver and pink and showed a flash out of its rear. It circled the observer four times.

The Air Force card lists the conclusion as probably aircraft. The comments say the description, the air traffic in the area, and the circling course suggest the witness probably saw an aircraft with its navigation lights.
