Summary

On July 6, 1954, three young children near Fullerton, Nebraska, reported seeing strange objects at dusk. The objects were described as one tube shaped, one cup shaped, and one tube shaped with humps. They were judged to be about 100 feet long and were black with white borders. The children saw them separately, not in formation.

One object traveled southwest to northeast and seemed to rotate on its axis. The cup shaped object moved from south to southeast and flew into the clouds. The sighting of each lasted about four minutes. One observer heard a sound like a large plane, and there were thunderstorms in the area.

The report was based on a letter from the children's older brother, who considered them truthful. The Air Force record card noted the report came from young children and that thundershower activity was in the area, and it listed the case as probably aircraft sightings.
