Summary

On December 2, 1957, a witness near Columbus, Ohio saw one bluish green object. It moved from northwest to southeast. The object was in sight for only a very short time. The file includes two record cards for this event, one from a civilian source and one from a military source.

The report was filed on Project 10073, the Air Force's official record for unidentified flying object reports. The Air Force agreed with the reporting officer that the object was a meteor.
