Summary

In 1954, a formation of objects was reported over Alexandria, Virginia. The sighting was made from the ground during the day. The report was filed under Project 10073, the Air Force's official record for unidentified flying object reports.

The witness described a V shaped formation of shiny aluminum colored objects gliding slowly. There was no tail or trail and no sound. The objects were seen at about 80 degrees elevation to the north and disappeared at about the same position.

No aircraft were in the area and there were no other reports. The Air Force marked the case as having insufficient data for analysis.
