Summary
On July 6, 1957, at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland, a military observer spotted one object that changed from small to large in size. The object was yellow and had a halo around its top. It moved slowly and made tight circular turns while staying high in the sky. The sighting lasted three hours. The object displayed characteristics of an astronomical body, but the specific object could not be identified. The Air Force evaluation listed the conclusion as unknown.
