Summary
On September 3, 1961, over the Pacific, a witness reported an oval object in the north northeast for about three and a half hours. The object showed blue, green, orange, and yellow colors with a diffused light around it. It moved very slowly toward the north northeast. The Air Force noted the witness gave only general readings and that the first magnitude star Capella was in the north northeast at that time. The card points to an astronomical cause, the star Capella.
