Insufficient Data

Summary

On May 9, 1960, a single witness near Waco, Texas, saw an object in the sky at dusk. The card lists the sighting as a ground visual observation of one object.

The object looked long and possibly pointed. It had no visible wings or tail. The witness said it appeared about 20 times as large as a B-47 aircraft. The object's color could not be determined. The witness watched it for a short time.

This report was filed under Project 10073, the Air Force's official record for unidentified flying object reports. Because there was only one witness, the Air Force classified the report as insufficient data for evaluation.
