Summary

Between June 13 and June 16, 1954, several witnesses near Vero Beach, Indialantic, and Patrick Air Force Base, Florida, reported strange lights over the Atlantic coast. The witnesses included civilians and Air Force personnel.

One object seen near Vero Beach on June 13 changed color from amber to bright white to green. It appeared to be at about 1,000 feet. It seemed to drop below the trees and rise again, with no clear shape. Other reports described a bright light that pulsed and rotated, and an object that wove right and left while climbing.

Weather reports for the dates noted scattered and overcast clouds and light winds. The Air Force record card listed this case as insufficient data.
