Summary

On December 5, 1957, near Texarkana, Texas, a civilian reported seeing six white lights with no visible shape traveling northwest to southeast for ten to twelve minutes. The lights were also sighted by aircraft in the area but made no radio contact. An aircraft refueling operation was underway at the time. The Air Force concluded the sighting was likely caused by a KC-97 type aircraft refueling a B-47 type aircraft, as there were no astronomical features that could explain the observation of a non-existent object.
