Summary

On April 15, 1958, a woman near Broager in southern Jutland, Denmark reported seeing a large black object flying low overhead. She described it as a "spaceship" with a white and yellow circle on it that seemed to move. As the object passed overhead, she said horseshoe-shaped lights emitting strong beams came from it. Around the same time, roughly 20 other witnesses in the area reported seeing a triangular-shaped object in the sky. One observer said he saw a "sea of flames" in the air. A member of Denmark's interplanetary society said he had received many reports of similar sightings in recent days.

The Air Force's official evaluation form noted that the sighting had been reported from various parts of Denmark. Because no duration of the sighting or specific flight pattern was recorded, the case was marked as having "insufficient data for evaluation." The form also suggested that the reports might have been of a meteor, though the file includes no meteorological data to support that conclusion.
