Summary
On October 1, 1956, at 2:53 a.m., a civilian in Pueblo, Colorado reported observing one round object resembling a star with a cream color. The object was approximately the size of a man's fist at arm's length and left two trails. It was seen at 60 degrees elevation and 180 degrees azimuth. The object disappeared in the same direction after being observed visually for 1 to 2 seconds. The sighting conformed to criteria for a meteor evaluation. The description manner of disappearance indicated the cause was astronomical (meteor).
