Summary

On November 26, 1956, a military airman saw one object over Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The witness happened to glance out a window. The object was watched for about three seconds.

The report described one green, oval shaped object the size of a basketball at arm's length. It had a green glow and left a vapor trail about 25 feet long. The object flew in a straight path and disappeared behind an obstacle. The sky was clear.

The Air Force record card lists the cause as a meteor. The description, duration, and flight path pointed to a meteor. Project 10073 was the Air Force's official record system for reports of unidentified flying objects.
