Summary

On October 6, 1957, at 1:05 p.m., a civilian in Kremmling, Colorado reported seeing a round object about the size of a quarter at arm's length. The object was red at first, then changed to blue with a white core and two tails. It remained stationary in the sky for five minutes before gradually fading out. The Air Force evaluated the sighting as probably a balloon released at Grand Junction, Colorado.
