Unidentified

Summary

On May 28, 1952, over northeast Albuquerque, New Mexico, two city firemen reported three unidentified objects at three different times during a clear day. The sightings happened about 1345, 1400, and 1440 (1:45, 2:00, and 2:40 p.m.).

The first object came from the northeast at high altitude and very high speed. It was circular and shining silver, with no visible propulsion and no sound. It approached to about four miles from the observers, then rose in a sharp clockwise circle and was lost from sight. The second sighting was two similar objects at about 15,000 feet, orange or light brown in color, moving in a straight line faster than the first. They turned abruptly to a northwest course and appeared 30 to 40 feet across at their closest approach.

The third sighting was one object high over the mountains, with the same features as the first, flying a curving course among scattered clouds. The objects were unfamiliar to the observers and seemed unlike any aircraft they had seen in the area. The record card notes no conclusion was firmly marked.
