Summary

On August 1, 1957, in Fogelsville, Pennsylvania, a man and woman driving in a car spotted a flying saucer near the town. They reported seeing a large light colored silver blue. The object was heading southwest at high altitude. The man called TWA at Reading, Pennsylvania, who referred him to Allentown CAA. Both Reading and Allentown failed to get the witness's name, address, or phone number. The man told Allentown CAA he had radar experience during the war and felt certain he saw a flying saucer. Because contact information was not obtained, the Air Force was unable to obtain further information or validate the report. The observation type was listed as ground-visual with one object observed. The length of observation was unknown. The Air Force evaluation was marked as unknown due to insufficient data.
