Summary

On September 24, 1957, near Egg Harbor, Wisconsin, children reported seeing a large object that looked like a star low on the horizon to the northwest. The object changed color from red to white and blue. The children reported it to an adult. The sighting lasted 30 minutes. One object was observed. The source was a civilian. An astro plot for the time, place, elevation and bearing given discloses the star Arcturus practically in exact spot described. The Air Force evaluation was Arcturus.
