Summary

On the night of June 23, 1954, a civilian woman in Denver, Colorado, saw a glowing object while standing in her back yard. The object had swept back wings, like a modern aircraft. It glowed light green and made no sound. She estimated it was at very high altitude.

The object appeared to the north, moved south, and seemed to follow the curvature of the earth before disappearing. The sighting lasted about 30 seconds. She viewed it with the naked eye.

Air traffic control had a report of an aircraft flying from Casper, Wyoming, toward Amarillo, Texas, believed to be a B-36, over Denver at the same time. The Air Force record card concluded the witness saw that aircraft.
