Insufficient Data

Summary

On about May 15, 1958, over Caracas, Venezuela, a formation of objects was reported as flying saucers. The report came from technicians of an air control department of a Venezuelan postal air line, as printed in a Brazilian newspaper. The objects were described as circular and were said to have moved with extraordinary speed before disappearing to the northwest. No exact date or time was given for the sighting. The report was filed under Project 10073, the Air Force's official record for unidentified flying object reports. The Air Force said the objects were probably meteors, based on the formation, straight flight, and speed. Because the brightness and duration were not reported, the case was considered to have insufficient data.
