Summary

In September 1961, observers using telescopes reported two objects in the sky. One object looked reddish and was about 35 degrees above the horizon. The other appeared white. The objects were watched for about 5 minutes. The Air Force could not establish a link between the first and second objects. The first was thought to be a possible aircraft or balloon, and a questionnaire was sent to gather more information.
