Summary

On April 13, 1962, at 10:52 North 149:59 West (Pacific), a military observer detected a white small pea-shaped object while taking star fix observations. The object moved through DX and Sextant views at 28 degrees elevation on a heading of 130 degrees, then faded at 20 degrees elevation. The observation lasted 1 minute 45 seconds. One object was sighted. The object's course was 150 degrees. The observation was apparently of an orbital object, but ECHO data was not available. No information in the report conformed with the analysis.
