Summary

On August 5, 1956, at 6:04 a.m. local time, one mile east of Denver, Colorado, a civilian observer reported seeing six round, pale orange colored objects flying in an approximate triangular formation for about 10 seconds. The objects moved in a straight line across the sky. According to the witness description and Air Force comments, the distance the objects traveled in 10 seconds and paired description suggest meteors. The Air Force concluded the sighting was most probably caused by meteors.
