10. BRIEF SUMMARY OF SIGHTING:
On 2 Jan 62, about 2225 hours from the area WARPKE/West Germany, a bright flying object was observed over East German territory. The object occasionally flashed red. No flight noise was remarked. Direction of flight was W-E, later turning to S. West German territory not violated.

11. COMMENTS:
This report contains insufficient information to allow a valid conclusion. However, the object was probably an a/c anti-collision light.
