Summary

On December 13, 1957, at 2:22 a.m., a civilian driving west on Page Boulevard in St. Louis, Missouri, observed an oblong object with a tail, about the size of a baseball bat, yellow or orange in color. The object appeared to separate into parts and seemed to hit the ground in a northwest direction. The sighting lasted 2 to 3 seconds. A check was conducted, and the Air Force determined that a meteor had fallen northwest of St. Louis, Missouri.
