Summary

On July 19, 1962, at 9:30 p.m., a civilian in Southern France observed an object in the lower Pyrenees moving from west to east. The object moved rapidly and appeared star-like. The witness observed it for about 30 minutes. The object's characteristics included a satellite-like appearance with the exception that the observation sound was heard and the duration was a maximum of 30 minutes.
