Summary

On December 13, 1962, an observer at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, reported an object traveling toward the west-southwest. The report was filed under Project 10073, the Air Force's official record system for unidentified flying object reports.

The object appeared as a bright green light with a lighted tail about a foot long, descending at about 45 to 60 degrees. It moved very fast and was in sight only a short time.

The Air Force evaluated the case as probably a meteor sighting.
