Summary

On November 12, 1957, a civilian near Ogdensburg, New York reported a small round object. The sighting lasted about 10 to 25 minutes, and the object was practically stationary. It changed colors from bright green and blue to white and orange, and it increased and decreased in brightness.

The Air Force concluded the object was astronomical and identified it as Venus. Astronomical charts showed the object in almost the exact location of Venus. This case is part of Project 10073, the Air Force's official record for unidentified flying object reports.
