Summary

On August 5, 1952, a commercial pilot and crew members sighted a formation of three flying disc-shaped objects over Lima, Peru at approximately 3 p.m. The objects hovered at high speed around the aircraft at 3000 feet. The sighting lasted 15 to 20 seconds. A civilian man had reported seeing a similar object over Lima the previous day. The source of the report was the newspaper La Prensa. The Air Force evaluation is unknown.
