Summary
On March 14, 1955, near Klamath Falls, Oregon, civilians reported bright objects in the sky. The observation lasted about six hours. One object was star-like and very bright and was watched for a long time. A second object looked like a meteor and moved from south to north.
An observatory at a university evaluated the first object. The Air Force listed the bright star-like object as the planet Jupiter. It listed the second object as astronomical, a meteor. The case is recorded under Project 10073, the Air Force's official record for unidentified flying object reports.
