Summary

On August 22, 1957, around dusk at 2330 (Greenwich time) in Kingston, Pennsylvania, civilian witnesses in one family saw two circular objects. The first was about twice the size of a basketball. The second was about twice the size of a grapefruit. The first was white and the second was orange. The two moved on parallel paths to the west. The sighting lasted about 1 hour and 15 minutes. The objects disappeared over the horizon. The sky was clear with very good visibility. About 15 minutes after they faded, a commercial aircraft was seen. The Air Force record card lists the conclusion as astronomical, naming Venus and Jupiter.
