Summary

On August 28, 1956, a civilian in Juniata, Pennsylvania, reported a single object. The sighting was recorded at 0255Z and lasted about three minutes.

The witness described one circular object with a plastic dome on top, about 9.3 feet across, with a very bright light that lit up the back yard. The object rose straight up, gaining about 20,000 feet of altitude, then headed north at a high rate of speed. It faded out of sight after about three minutes.

The Air Force listed this sighting as unidentified.
