Summary

On July 2, 1962, a civilian reported a sighting over Hutchinson, Kansas. The witness, described as an employee of the city, observed a round object about the size of a dime at arm's length. The object was yellow in color and made no noise. It traveled northeast at jet aircraft altitude and speed, remained in sight for a period of time, and then moved rapidly away. The witness reported the object was steady in movement. Time of sighting was between 3:25 p.m. and 3:35 p.m. The Air Force evaluation was Unknown.
