Summary

On December 2, 1957, a witness near Glouster, Massachusetts reported an object larger than a shooting star with a long white tail. The object turned yellow before it burned out. It then appeared to break into two pieces. The Air Force recorded the case under Project 10073, its official record for unidentified flying object reports. The card notes that the object had all the characteristics of a bolide, a very bright meteor.
