Summary

At some point in 1954 near Florence, Massachusetts, a civilian woman reported one object. She was working at a brush factory and looked up from her work. The object was visible only briefly and was descending.

The witness described the object as a fish-shaped craft of tremendous size and color, coming down behind some trees. She later drove toward the spot but turned back when she saw a car with three men parked there. She reported the matter to local civil defense and ground observer officials. She did not report it to the Air Force until a letter dated July 30, 1957, about three years after the sighting.

The Air Force record lists the conclusion as insufficient data for evaluation. The card notes the report was received three years after the sighting and that the witness seemed sincere.
