Summary

On a night in December 1957, a witness near Fruita reported one round object that changed colors among yellow, white, green, and red. The object moved to the southwest, then to the south, over about 45 minutes. It was seen passing near the planet Venus. The Air Force recorded the case under Project 10073, its official record for unidentified flying object reports. The card notes that the object stayed in the same area for 45 minutes, that the moon was down and the sun had set, and that astronomical twilight had also passed.
