Summary

On October 14, 1956, at about 4 p.m. local time, a civilian near Covington, Kentucky reported a brilliant object seen from a car while driving in town traffic. The witness described it as a bright light about one quarter the size of the moon. It appeared stationary, and within one block it was gone.

The object was seen only briefly. The Air Force marked the case as having insufficient data for evaluation.
