CAMBELLS CREEK, NFD, February 1952February 1952
Summary
On February 26, 1952, an observer at Campbells Creek, West Virginia, made a report that became part of Project Blue Book, the Air Force's official record of unidentified flying object reports. The record card notes that aircraft engines were heard overhead.
The Air Force comment on the card says no aircraft were missing. The card's conclusion fields are present but the brief summary gives few details.
The file also includes a later account from February 1953 in which a person reported seeing three bright silver discs or spheres in a V formation in the afternoon. The discs were said to move slowly, hover, change formation, and then rush away at high speed.
