Summary

On August 25, 1956, a civilian in Bloom, Kansas, reported a single object. The sighting was recorded at 0313Z (night). The duration was not reported.

The witness gave very little detail. The object's description was unknown. It was first seen about fifteen degrees above the horizon at about 300 degrees azimuth and was last seen about fifteen degrees above the horizon at about 200 degrees azimuth. It moved straight and level toward the east, then disappeared suddenly.

The Air Force called this a very poor report with no usable data. The evaluation was insufficient data for analysis.
