Summary

In April 1962, a military crew in the Pacific (about 29-40N 125-00W) reported one object traveling to the north-northeast. The object was watched for about 6 minutes. It was first seen at a bearing of 005 degrees and an elevation of about 10 degrees, with the brightness of a second magnitude star, and faded gradually. The Air Force noted the object had the characteristics of a satellite. No Echo satellite data was available, but the indications pointed to a satellite. The record card concluded the sighting was a satellite.
