Summary

In April 1962, a report from West Manchester, Ohio, concerned a physical object turned in to the Air Force. The report was submitted in September, after the decay of the Sputnik IV satellite. The witness claimed the object glowed red until it was between 100 and 200 feet from the ground. The Air Force had the object analyzed. It was found to be ordinary granite, with no sign that it had been subjected to heat. The record card concluded the object was not a meteor.
