Summary
On November 6, 1957, at 1152 hours (11:52 a.m.), a civilian in Walden, New York reported an oblong object about the size of a blimp. The object appeared rosy at first, then faded to pink as it grew higher in color. The sighting lasted 9 minutes and involved one object moving east. The witness was a civilian. Comments noted the object was probably moonlight reflecting off low cumulus clouds or a Navy aircraft. The Air Force evaluation listed the conclusion as probably astronomical.
