Summary
In March 1955, near Sonoma, California, an observer reported one object about the size of a dime held at arm's length. It was silvery white. The observer thought it looked like a balloon of some sort. A separate report described an object about the size of a dime, silver in color, drifting overhead for about 30 seconds until it passed behind clouds.
No further investigation was authorized.
The Air Force listed the object as possibly a balloon. The case is recorded under Project 10073, the Air Force's official record for unidentified flying object reports.
