Summary

On November 7, 1957, a civilian woman at San Antonio, Texas, reported one object in the sky. A neighbor had called and told her to watch it. The sighting was a ground visual observation that lasted about 30 minutes around dusk.

The object was round, about the size of the head of a pin, and pale yellow. It moved in level flight and then moved into a cloud bank. The sky was broken clouds.

This case is part of Project 10073, the Air Force's official record for unidentified flying object reports. The Air Force said the data was very limited. Officers noted that if the object moved east it could have been a balloon launched at San Antonio just before the sighting, and if it moved west it could have been an astronomical sighting. With no positional information, the conclusion was insufficient data.
